  • Allied documents concerning Alfred Naujocks after his capture, mostly his time in the British Camp 020 interrogation center 1944–45. These were not declassified until the 2000's and are particularly damaging for Naujocks credibility. For instance, at this point he does not even know when the Gleiwitz incident actually took place - he believes it happened more than 2 weeks before the start of the war!
  • 10 files concerning a case in connection with the Gleiwitz incident first against Alfred Naujocks by Public Prosecution Office Hamburg (Case number 8I Js 532/66), after his death 1966 transferred to Public Prosecution Office Düsseldorf, now against his supposed accomplices. This was then changed to Heinrich Müller ("Gestapo Müller") and later transferred to Public Prosecution Office Berlin and merged with an existing case against Heinrich Müller (case number 3 P (K) Js 54/62, new number of the merged case 1 Js 1/68 (RSHA)). While these investigations did not lead to any indictments, chief prosecutor Alfred Spieß did mash up materiel from them to write the book "Unternehmen Tannenberg" which came out in 1979. This book is, besides the paper by Runzheimer, probably the most important "primary" source for the mainstream position.
